What is our daily schedule? 

Below is a tentative idea of the daily schedule. As we get closer to the retreat, we’ll provide a firm schedule, so you can plan excursions.

8:00 – 9:00: Morning yoga
9:30 – 11:30: Breakfast/Brunch
11:30 – 5:00: Free time (spa treatment, lounge by the swimming pond, nature walks, take a trip to nearby Serpa 15 minutes away, and more)
5:00 – 6:30: Afternoon yoga
6:30 – 8:30: Dinner 

*There will be two (or 3) days where we have scheduled activities/excursions but will still have one or two yoga classes that day depending on timing.

**Our itinerary is completely optional. You may schedule your own excursions at any time.

What is the currency and exchange rate in Portugal?

Euro. 1 Euro = $1.09 USD.

Is Portugal expensive?

Portugal is one of the most affordable countries in Western Europe, with food available at affordable prices, cheap options for accommodations, and reasonable costs for transport.

How much is the airfare?

Round-trip airfare will cost around $800 (from what we can see now).

How long is the flight to Lisbon?

Travel time from DFW is approximately 11 hours.

What other expenses should I plan for other than the retreat and airfare?

• Spa treatments.

• Meals outside the retreat schedule.

• Alcoholic beverages.

• Gratuities.

• Sightseeing tours or activities outside of the retreat schedule + local transportation while at the retreat.

• Accommodations before and after the retreat.
  We highly recommend everyone arrive at least one day before the retreat (Friday for the week of Jun 15-22 or Saturday for the week of Jun 23-30). You’ll be more comfortable arriving early and not worrying about missing the group transportation if you have flight delays.

How will we get from Lisbon to the retreat center?

As a part of your retreat cost, we will coordinate and pay for local transportation to and from Lisbon.

What happens if my flight is delayed and I miss the group transportation?

If a participant misses the group transport or decides to book their own travel to or from Lisbon, this additional cost would be the responsibility of the participant.

What type of food is served?

We’ll have a private chef during the retreat, and meals will be vegetarian.

Will there be spots available if I wait to register later?

Week one has 2 rooms available (as of 1/14/24). Week two is sold out.

What happens if there are global travel restrictions next summer?

 In the event of global travel restrictions, your deposit and any additional payments will be fully refunded.
