Class Descriptions
Gentle Flow: Get back to basics with a slower-paced 60-minute Vinyasa flow session. Perfect for beginners and practitioners of all levels who want to brush up on fundamentals.
Open Flow: Spend 60 minutes journeying through the poses of Vinyasa flow and finding transformative moments of stillness. Designed for all levels.
Slow Flow: Slow flow yoga is a meditative flow that practices slowing down by using a slow steady breath, holding postures, transitioning smoothly, and opening gently and mindfully with the ability to move deeper into one’s body and self. It’s a practice that builds strength, and each movement is initiated by slow controlled inhales and exhales. Accessible for all levels.
Yin: Yin yoga is a passive practice that deeply nourishes the connective tissues. Poses are held for 3 to 10 minutes to help you release tension and energy from your muscles and connective tissues.
Yin/Nidra: 30 minutes of Yin/30 minutes of Yoga Nidra. See above for Yin description. Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions.
Mindful Flow + Meditation: This class uses awareness, alignment, and breath to help release tension and relax the nervous system. Stretch and strengthen your entire body while creating space for stillness. The latter part of class includes a guided meditation for the ultimate yoga experience. If you're looking for a class that splits the perfect difference between gentle and open flow, this is the class.
Deep Stretch: Access and open areas of tension or strain in your body, increasing your range of motion, core stability, and awareness of healthy body mechanics on and off the mat. Designed for all levels.
Roll, Awaken, Release: This class incorporates myofascial release and novel movement techniques from The Roll Model Method® and Yoga Tune Up® to increase body awareness, promote mobility, and release tension. A set of Yoga Tune-Up Therapy Balls will be used in every class.
Virtual attendees, please also have yoga blocks and a yoga strap (or similar items) available.
Meditation: Learn more about meditation—an essential element of yogic practice—with this 30-minute voyage into stillness.
Restorative: Heal body, mind, and spirit in this gentle 75-minute class adapted to individual needs. Open to all levels.
Slow Flow + Restore: Slow steady breath, holding postures, transitioning smoothly, and opening gently and mindfully with the ability to move deeper into one’s body and self. It’s a practice that builds strength, and each movement is initiated by slow controlled inhales and exhales ending with several supported restorative poses. Accessible for all levels.
